Chapel represents a section of time we set aside before each class to intentionally connect with God through worship and to be challenged to explore the depths of God's truth and love. While Chapel is often structured as a worship service, the purpose of Chapel is different from the spiritual development that our students are used to receiving.
Community Outreach introduces people to the Love of Jesus. It's an opportunity to persuade people to come to Church, where they will have the opportunity to enter into the life changing world of discipleship. Outreach is a starting point for people on their path to a relationship with Jesus. Churches picks up where outreach ends
It is invaluable for our students to embrace the idea of becoming disciples of Jesus Christ who reproduces. It is imperative that believers of all ages truly embrace a lifestyle of evangelism and they need to see it modeled beyond the four walls of the church. When students see first hand God drawing someone to Himself, it does more than a million of words of encouragement could ever do.
Conferences and workshops are catalysts for change. Believers of Jesus Christ develop convictions not only from personal Bible study, but also in environments away from our normal day-to-day life. That is what conferences, retreats, seminars and worskshops can provide. Did you know that more is accomplished in the spirit at 3-day retreat or conference than in a whole semester of studies and meetings on campus.
